Every coin launched here is paired with one token: IMD. Not ETH, not USDC. Each coin opens a Uniswap V3 pool against IMD at a $3,000 fully-diluted market cap, computed by the contract at launch time.
The opening price
The launchpad reads IMD/ETH spot from the deepest Uniswap v4 ETH/IMD pool, multiplies by Chainlink ETH/USD, and rejects the launch if that number disagrees with the IMD/USDC V3 pool by more than 25%. Price per coin = $3,000 ÷ IMD/USD ÷ 1,000,000,000, then snapped to the fee tier's tick grid (±1% on the default 1% tier).
The liquidity
The full supply sits in one single-sided range from the opening price upward. No IMD is needed to launch. Buyers add IMD to the pool; sellers take it back out. The LP NFT is held by the launchpad forever — it can collect fees, it can never remove liquidity.
Fees
- Pool fee per trade (1% default) accrues to the sealed position.
- claimFees(token) is callable by anyone and always pays 80% to the creator, 20% to treasury.
- Flat launch fee: —, sent to treasury.
None of these are official
Anyone can call launch() with any name or symbol. The contract address is the only identity a coin has. IMD itself is and is not launched here. imdpad.fun is a community tool and is not affiliated with identity.md.
What to watch
Coins here move with IMD. When IMD rises against ETH, every coin's ETH price rises with it; when IMD falls, they all fall. Exits are paid in IMD from each pool's IMD balance — that number is the honest one, and it is usually far below the headline market cap.
